When will I get my NYS tax refund?
New York State is one of the most populous states in the US. Compared to other states, it can take a tad longer to get your tax refund but know that the NYS has one of the most advanced tax processing systems. If you e-filed and submitted your tax return electronically, you’ll get your tax refund the soonest. This, of course, assuming that you chose to get your refund direct deposited into your bank account.
On the other hand, taxpayers that have filed a paper tax return can expect to wait between three and four weeks to receive their tax refunds. It would take longer than this, though, if you opted to get a paper check instead, as it will take additional time to print the check and arrive at your mailbox by mail.

If no results are displayed, the chances are you’ve entered something wrong. Make sure to check the refund status for the right tax year and see if you entered the refund amount correctly. You must enter the exact dollar and cent amount as shown on your return.
